Installing Crystal Reports Server Enterprise XI

To install Crystal Reports Server Enterprise XI

  1. Install Crystal Reports XI, with Java and IIS, as described in the previous section.

  2. Copy the folders Adapter and Testreport from your Civic Platform installation directory, for example, \accela\av.deploy\dist\reportadaptor\crystal\cr11_enterprise\.

  3. Paste the folders Adapter and Testreport into your reports directory, for example, E:\AccelaReports\ on the Crystal Reports server.

  4. Go to Windows Start menu > All Programs > Business Objects > Crystal Reports Server > Java InfoView.

    The InfoView/BusinessObjects login page displays.



  5. Enter your login credentials, as shown in the sample screen.

  6. Create a new folder named TEST in the Public Folder.

  7. Create a new folder named ACCELA in the TEST folder.

  8. Open the IIS Administration console.

  9. Create a virtual directory named accelareports in the default web site node.



  10. Click Next, and then specify the web site directory, for example, E:\AccelaReports.

  11. Click OK.

  12. Click Next.

  13. Click Finish.

  14. Navigate to E:\AccelaReports\adaptor.

  15. Open the file FileDirectory.asp and update the Enterprise login info with your login credentials, as shown here:



  16. Open the file XReport.asp and update the Enterprise login info with your login credentials, as shown here:



  17. With Crystal Developer, open the report test.rpt, which resides in cr11_enterprise\testreport, and save it to the Enterprise folder: TEST\ACCELA.

  18. Paste this URL into the address field of an IE browser:

    http://localhost/Accelareports/adapter/FileDirectory.asp?env=TEST&agency=ACCELA 

    An XML page displays.



  19. Paste this URL into the address field of an IE browser:

    http://localhost/Accelareports/adapter/XReport.asp?reportName=/TEST/ACCELA/test.rpt 

    A success message displays.



Configuring Report Manager for Crystal Reports Server Enterprise XI

  1. Navigate to V360 Admin > Report Manager > Settings > Report Services > CrystalXI.

    The Report Service configuration page displays.



  2. Define your environment and agency to match the folder structure of the Enterprise folder structure.
